Tiny breaks for work stress
Privacy Policy
Effective September 30, 2026
What the app stores on your device
To show your garden, streaks, and which activities help you, Sprout Breaks keeps a small amount of information only on your device:
- Your breaks: the date and time, the mood you picked (anxious, bored, or drained), which activity you did, how long it took, and your optional answer to “Feeling any different?”
- Your name, if you choose to enter one: used only to greet you on the home screen.
- Your goals, if you add any: the short-term and long-term goals you write on the home screen, and whether you've marked them done.
- Your journal entries, if you write any: the text you write, the prompt you answered, and the date.
This information is never sent to us or to anyone else. We don't run servers that receive it, and the app doesn't connect to the internet to function.
What the app doesn't keep
- Worries you type in Worry Sorter, thoughts in Thought Clouds, wins in Small Wins, cards you keep in Kind Words, and drawings in Quick Draw are used only while that screen is open. They are not saved.
- We don't collect contact details, location, health data, device identifiers, or usage analytics.
- The app contains no advertising and no third-party tracking or analytics tools.
Backups
If you back up your iPhone with iCloud or to a computer, your device backup may include this app's on-device data. Those backups are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy, not by us.
Deleting your data
You're in control:
- To erase your gardens, goals, journal, streaks, and break history, open the app and go to Settings → Erase my data.
- To remove your name, clear it in Settings.
- Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.
Children
Sprout Breaks is designed for adults at work and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Not medical care
Sprout Breaks offers short relaxation activities. It isn't medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it's not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you're struggling, please see the support resources on our support page.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles information, we'll update this page and the date above. If a change means data would leave your device, we'll explain it in the app before it happens.
